Diary entry 4

Now that I have put my sounds track over the images of my work it all works and fits together very well, now that my experimental video is the way that I want it, I now have to add my titles and photo to the opening screen on the DVD and it is ready to be exhibited, to some family members.

Diary entry 3

Today I decided to finish of on garage band and add a freaky but annoying sound track to the video, I had the same sound throughout the video, I also tried to change the tempo of the sound track throughout the video to a fast tempo at the begging and fading out into a slower one, but that didn’t quite work so I slowed the whole sound track down and figured out that the tempo that I had just created was much better suited to my experimental video.

Diary entry 2

After taking all of my phones for my experimental video, I then put them on a Mac and began editing, then I had to import all my photos on to imovie which didn’t work and had to move to a standard computer to import them onto a memory stick which took much longer than expected, nearly an hour! Then I had to go back over to the Mac room and try import them from my memory stick to imovie again, which still didn’t work. Once they had all been imported, I had to drag them along the time line in the correct order as mine all messed up and mixed up whilst they were imported which took much longer than expected too. Figuring out how long each frame should be was the most tactical part of the editing, currently I am making am trying to make a track on garage band to go with the video.

Diary entry 1

After half term when we came back to college, I started taking my pictures, which I will therefore use for my stop frame animation experimental video, when taking some pictures I found that some were harder than others but then managed to sort them out. Some example of this is, when taking the pictures of the two pairs of shoes moving towards each other and crossing on the stairs meet you couldn’t see the smaller pair which meant I had to change the shoes over, so that they were seen, I stood holding the camera almost in a birds eye view in the corridor, not moving while the shoes where being moved by two other students helping, all was going well until I noticed how much longer the pictures were taking than planned, so I had to cut some of my clips from my story board, so I had to re-do my story board to fit the video and scenes within that.
